Lovely as a Tree Exhibition - The Linnean Society
An exhibition on the culture of trees explored through the Linnean Society's collections. We explore the use and representation of trees through our collections, looking at how trees are represented in natural history illustration, iconic trees, economic botany, and the exploitation of trees!

Brighton & Hove Tree Festival

Running over two weekends in May, the Brighton & Hove Tree Festival offers a host of free events for everyone to enjoy. There are also opportunities to get involved before the festival and throughout May with Tree Trails, a Photography Competition ‘I love this tree because...’ and the Champion School Trees project.

Royal Parks ‘tree’mendous workshop resources, free curriculum-linked virtual workshops.  The Royal Parks invite you and your KS2 students to get creative this summer term and speak out about the impact of urban trees during the climate emergency!

Trees4Grenfell

All communities are are invited to remember the 72+ that died in Grenfell Tower.  It will be a reminder of those lost and show support for the Hope and growth of our communities at all levels so a tragedy like this never happens again.

In Plane Sight

An audio activity you you can take part in at your leisure. You can listen to this story wherever you may be - but it’s best enjoyed outside, on a walk and preferably in London. Berkeley Square, Highbury Fields, Victoria Park, Finsbury Park - are all optimum spots to not just hear this story but experience it first hand.

Find the Missing Elms

Nine Elms and Beyond - Get familiar with Wandsworth’s elms - go and take a look at them, learn to recognise them and love them. Explore Wandsworth’s ‘known’ elms on a map of Elms in the neighbourhood. We know there are more elms out there to find - can you help us find them? The activity runs throughout the festival.
